I am the founder and sole owner of Schorr Law Firm, which I opened in May of 2001. Since then my legal group has proudly and successfully represented clients throughout Texas who have been harmed, or whose family members have been harmed, as the result of someone, or some company, exposing the public to needless danger.

Following an injury people want answers to all kinds of questions. For example, most people ask questions like: What do I do? Who should I call? Who should I see for my injuries? How can I get better? Who is going to pay for my medical care? How am I going to get my car fixed? What insurance is available? Will I be compensated for my damages? Who will pay for my damages? Who determines how much compensation I should receive for my damages? Should I talk to the insurance company? What should I say? What should I not say? Who can I trust? Most if not all of these questions should be answered by an experienced and accomplished Texas personal injury attorney.

Legal matters and insurance claims are very stressful and frustrating. We want our clients to know that not only are they receiving extremely skilled and professional legal services from an accomplished and successful law firm with highly talented negotiators and litigators, but that the members of our firm genuinely care about our clients.

If you choose to engage us to fight for your legal rights, we want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. We want you to focus on recovering your health while we get you through your legal difficulties.

Throughout my career I have represented clients from all over the State of Texas, including: San Antonio, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Tyler, Gainesville, Paris, Longview, Denton, McKinney, Palestine, Nacogdoches, Houston, Rockwall, Alvarado, Grapevine, and other Texas cities as well as clients from other states who were injured in Texas. My firm has recovered significant settlements and trial verdicts for our clients. For example, in 2014, I was recognized by Verdict Search as having the largest settlement in a state court in Dallas County, which was also one of the top 10 settlements for all courts in Texas for the year.

I am licensed to practice in Texas, and I am admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and The Supreme Court of the United States of America.

I grew up in Dallas Texas. I attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School and Bishop Lynch High School, where I met my high-school sweetheart and husband, Geoffrey Schorr. After college I became a certified elementary school teacher. I taught hundreds of students throughout my career as a teacher with the Mesquite Independent School District, Catholic Diocese of Dallas at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School. After retiring from teaching I began working at Schorr Law Firm.

I grew up in Dallas and now live in Rockwall.

I have been a paralegal since 1996. I worked for retired Probate Judge Joseph E. Ashmore, Jr. from 1996 until I joined Schorr Law Firm in January 2010. I brought a unique skill set and strong probate background with me to the firm. Since I started my job at Schorr Law Firm, I have expanded my practice areas and truly enjoy my work in family law, as well as probate.

As part of Jared’s legal group, I handle client intakes, drafting pleadings and documents for family law, probate, probate litigation, estate planning, guardianships and general litigation, coordinating court filings, scheduling hearings, and much more.

I believe that what you give to your clients comes back to you in some way. I enjoy helping people, especially in difficult times. I feel extremely lucky to be part of the Schorr Law Firm family.

I started with Schorr Law Firm on February 1, 2003, and have been Geoff’s legal assistant ever since. I have worked for several different law firms, but I found my home when I joined Schorr Law Firm. I have more than 25 years assisting clients who have been injured because of others exposing our clients to needless danger. I have experience in all stages of personal injury and medical malpractice claims including: client intake, investigating claims, investigating coverage, assessing liability, assisting clients with setting up doctor appointments, working with insurance adjusters and medical providers, gathering medical records and bills, negotiating with providers and insurance companies, and litigation.

I am very hands on and am dedicated to making sure Schorr Law Firm clients receive the attention that they have grown to expect from our firm. I am very passionate about Schorr Law Firm and our clients. Please contact me if there is something I can assist you with, or if you just want to talk.

I am a litigation legal assistant for Geoff. I have been a member of SLF since 2007 when I started as a receptionist. Now I help Geoff with cases for clients that are in litigation. I help manage his calendar, prepare and file legal documents, answer discovery, interview clients, answer questions for clients, obtain records, prepare cases for trial and help mentor my co-workers. Since joining SLF I have become a wife and a mom. I am always available for SLF clients – if there is something I can assist you with please call or email me.

I am one of Geoff’s legal assistants for cases that are in pre-litigation and litigation. I help coordinate and set hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.I assist with discovery and filing pleadings. I request, receive, review and organize voluminous sets of medical records and bills related to injuries sustained by our clients.

I originally joined the Schorr Law Firm family on November 4, 2010. I began as a part-time receptionist and shortly after began working full time. Soon I began assisting in the Litigation department and working side by side with my coworker, Carina. Currently, I continue to help Carina in preparing cases in litigation for trial, and I assist Terrie with pre-litigation matters. I am bilingual, speaking fluently in both English and Spanish, ready to translate for anyone who calls or comes in to see Geoff or Jared.

I’m very involved with my family at home and enjoy engaging in physical activities, such as running and shooting some hoops every now and then. Come on into Schorr Law Firm or give us a call just to see what we’re about. I would be delighted to be of service to you!

Cristina joined SLF on 9/23/2019 as the firm’s receptionist, and she has also become one of the firm’s legal secretaries. We are excited to watch Cristina grow with us, and we are very fortunate to have her as part of our SLF Crew.
