WHO WE ARE

GEOFFREY SCHORR

NORTH TEXAS TRIAL LAWYER | WRONGFUL DEATH & CATASTROPHIC INJURY

Geoffrey Schorr is a Texas trial lawyer with more than 25 years of experience representing individuals and families in serious injury and wrongful death cases. Based in North Texas, he handles high-stakes matters statewide, including catastrophic injury, commercial trucking collisions, premises liability, workplace injuries, and medical negligence.

Clients often come to Geoff during the most difficult moments of their lives. His role is to provide clarity, steady guidance, and strong advocacy — from the first conversation through resolution, including trial when necessary.

A Practice Built on Perspective

Geoff’s commitment to standing up for others began early, after witnessing a family member be treated unfairly in a situation they did not fully understand. That experience shaped his belief that people deserve strong representation when the system feels overwhelming.

He also understands personally the profound grief that follows devastating loss. For that reason, wrongful death cases are approached with particular care, seriousness, and respect for what families are enduring.

Trial-Ready Representation

Geoff is known for detailed case development and principled courtroom advocacy. Insurance companies and corporate defendants respond differently when a lawyer is prepared to take a case to trial, and Geoff has built his practice around that level of readiness.

Over the course of his career, he has obtained substantial verdicts and settlements for clients facing life-altering harm.

Geoff is AV Preeminent rated, has been recognized among Texas Super Lawyers, and is admitted to practice in both Texas and federal courts, including New Mexico.

Professional Recognition

Geoff’s memberships and honors include:

  • American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA)
  • Million Dollar Advocates Forum
  • Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum
  • The National Trial Lawyers Top 100

These distinctions reflect peer recognition and results achieved on behalf of injured Texans.

What Clients Can Expect

Geoff founded his firm to provide something increasingly rare: direct lawyer involvement, careful case handling, and steady communication throughout the legal process.

Clients can expect their case to be treated with seriousness, preparation, and the personal attention it deserves.

A lifelong Texan, Geoff is married to his high school sweetheart and remains committed to serving individuals and families across the state.
